Georgia regained top 10 status with the win over Florida, while the rest of the top 10 kept the same nine teams, with minor rearrangements. The top five stay exactly the same, thanks to the byes and Clemson's game that may as well have been a bye.
So, there are some huge games this week with a lot of marbles on the line. A few of the biggest: LSU at Alabama (105 vs 102 marble gain potential), Penn St at Minnesota (94 vs 99), Iowa at Wisconsin (61 vs 47), Iowa St at Oklahoma (81 vs 39), and K-State at Texas (51 vs 62).
We still seem to be getting new followers of the Marble Game every week, so as a refresher, here are the rules for how this works:
- Each P5 team started the season with 200 marbles, each G5 started with 100.
- For each home win you take 20% of your opponents marbles. For each road win you take 25%.
- Neutral site games are treated like home games (worth 20%) for each team.
- Notre Dame and BYU were given the privilege of starting with 200 marbles.
- Fractional marbles get rounded to whole marbles at the time when they are moved from one team to the other.
If you have any feedback or questions or see any issues feel free to reach out to the commissioner, David Burge (@IowaHawkBlog) or myself (@NateEMiller) on Twitter.

SMU and App. St both lost, thus reducing the number of remaining undefeated teams to only seven, and meaning there are no longer any undefeated G5 teams.
Only four P5 conferences still have an undefeated team, with the BIG 10 having three. That will change this week when Penn St travels to Minnesota for a battle with BIG 10 championship implications. The SEC still has two undefeateds but that will also change this week. LSU travels to Alabama to determine who will lead the SEC West and therefore make the SEC championship and likely the playoff.
