2019 - NEMindex through Week 13

Hmm. LSU dropped to third, giving Clemson the opening to second, while the gap between Ohio St and it's pursuers opened back up a bit.  This is probably based more on the quality of Ohio St's game than anything else. LSU beat Arkansas, but maybe should have won by more, while Clemson got the bye week bump that seems to often happen in this system.

Oregon lost to Az St, thus removing their chances at the playoff, but as long as Utah beats Colorado and then Oregon in the PAC 12 Championship, they still have a lane to the 4th seed.  The weakness of Utah's schedule continues to haunt them, leading to two 2-loss teams coming in above them.  The committee won't put any 2-loss teams in the playoff, so really Georgia is likely the main team in Utah's way.  UGA plays Georgia Tech this week, a game that's not likely to create the opening Utah needs.  Otherwise we have to hope LSU beats them in the SEC championship.
