2019 - NEMindex through Conference Championships

Well this is unexpected.  I had never foreseen a situation where the conference championships would come together to hurt OU, Utah, Baylor, and Oregon enough to allow ND to pass them all into the 4th spot.  It's a strange anomaly that happens often in my system, where a bye week (or not playing in a conference championship) actually benefits teams.  ND benefits from so many other teams going to 2 losses and falling around them.  It seems obvious that Oklahoma will get the 4th seed in the playoff, and deservedly so in my opinion, but it is interesting to see that based purely on the math, as I've defined it, ND has apparently had a more impressive overall performance.

My Utes had their worst showing of the season at the most inopportune time.  Huntley just seemed flustered the whole game.  So we fall to 15th and I think are set to play in the Alamo bowl, likely against Oklahoma St.
