IowaHawkBlog's Marble Game through Week 12

Michigan State and Oregon both went down, giving Oklahoma State the jump into the top 4.  Notre Dame won but slid one spot to 4th.  I have it on good information that Cincinnati fans were all Utah fans last night, and it paid off in them finally breaking the top 10.  I don't know that the marble game will ever give them a playoff spot, but they're sure fighting tooth and nail for it.

The biggest marble move of the week was obviously from the Mich St vs Ohio St game, with the Oregon v Utah game only one marble behind.  The largest rank move was from Wyoming, whose destruction of Utah State moved them 22 spots.

I still don't think we've seen a 100-marble-win game yet this season (we've had two 99's I believe), but that changes this week.  Big games for week 13: Ohio State at Michigan (107 vs 109 marble-gain potential), Oklahoma at Oklahoma State (114 vs 87), Ole Miss at Mississippi State (62 vs 93), and Oregon State at Oregon (83 vs 46).
It's also worth noting Georgia is at Georgia Tech. If Georgia wins, they'll only pick up 12 marbles. If GT pulls the upset, they'd get 158! But this means that even if Georgia wins, if Ohio State also wins, Ohio State will be the new #1 team in the marble game.  Dawgs fans should be cheering for Michigan.
